I need advice. I happen to like the only guy in guard and he's on my guard and I think he might possibly like me too....if anyone cares enough to know details just ask but I won't bore you with them now. So anyway I'm going crazy because I'm really starting to like this guy but if something bad happens it could screw everything up. Anyone have any ideas?

K welp so everything Amelia told me ya know happened and guess what? We're seriously best friends now. So close that he told me who he likes. Right. And she's one of my best friends as well. And she likes him too. So now I'm stuck playing matchmaker for the two of them and I'm trying to be a good friend, but I like him!! LKAJKLSJDLKAJSDLKJASD Do I just sit back and wait until they break up? Its bound to happen before too long we're only 15. But its kinda hard to watch this happening. But I want him to be happy. I mean I know for a fact that he thinks of me as just a friend so there's nothing there. Like I thought maybe there was more to us walking around holding hands all the time and always being on the phone together and ect.ect. but apparently in his eyes there's nothing more than friendship.
So. What should I do? I'm thinking just sit back, relax, and know things will happen when they're supossed to... and then be there for him when they break up or w/e and then maybe he'll notice ya know what I mean.. but does that only happen in the movies?

If you could make a guard show for a MIDDLE school what music would you use? Haha. I would have said Somewhere Over The Rainbow but thats what the middle school in our program really is doing this year so... Im not too sure.
Would you ever consider a world or open guard? Heck yeah. Our high school has two guard. An A3 and an Open. I'm doing Open next year baby! It's already been discussed. :)
Do you want to be a captain or instructor? An instructor would be sweet. We don't have captains in winter... they might in color I dunno. I march el trumpeto during Marching Band so...
Do you think you are strong enough? For what? I could ALWAYS be stronger especially on rifle. Anyone offering lessons around here?

OMG. I can't handle this anymore. I'm not a nurse or a babysitter, I'm sick of taking care of old people and not having my own house. In the past two hours we've had to visitors and I've so far been forced to:
A) Take out their dog.
B) Eat lunch with them even though I wasn't hungry.
C) Clean up the said lunch.
D) Clean up after my aunt's lunch who was too weak to eat lunch with us.
E) Feed the dog.
omg. I'm going out of my mind. Not to mention I look like crap and the pastor just came by our house but whatever. aowiehfkasdfoier.
I also had to sit through their conversation about how smoking and tobaco really isn't that bad without saying something they'd get mad at me for. Freakin ignorant people. God.

OMG. I can't handle any more drama! AHH! Ok so here's how my weekend went.
On Friday we had a Valentine Dance to raise money for guard and it was so awesome. Everyone actually danced and tons of people came, it was so fun and we raised a lot of money.
Saturday we had practice from 7:30 am until 9:00 am and then we left for the competition. We got there around 1 and the baby guard (the guard from the middle school) performed somewhere between 1:45 and 2:00 pm. They were awesome, even though pulling the floor and props out for them was a pain, but anyway.
Then after much antcipation, it was our turn. Mine, Adam's and Sara's first winterguard competition ever. We couldn't wait. The show was awesome, even though we had three drops. One from me (aoahsdfjkahsdkfjh!) but I kept smiling and performing and I just picked it up and kept going so ya know thats good, and two from Kim on her rifle. And then we had to wait.
Adam and I are like the only ones who enjoy watching the other shows so we went down to the gym by ourselves and pretty much hung out the entire day, and we probably will this weekend too, I'm really glad we're becoming better friends all of a sudden it's like he's always right there beside me.
All the CVPOpen guard were awesome but West Johntson was the most awesome thing I've ever seen. It was a Star Wars show and I won't tell details incase any of y'all guard people are going to see it because it would ruin the suprise, but let me tell you, if you're at the same competition you HAVE to go watch their show!
When awards finally came around we were such a nervous reck. Adam and Sara went to retreat and the rest of us were holding hands in the stands waiting impatiently. And then they were finally ready and the Middle School guards were announced and, thank God, BROAD CREEK WON!!! yay! They've kept the perfect undefeated record the past guard has set for them. And then it was our turn after the A1 and A2's.
So he started announcing, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4----with a 56.something ------- CROATAN HIGH SCHOOL!
WHAT?
It was like when someone jerks a record off the player and it makes that noise inside my head. I couldn't believe it. For the first time in Croatan and Broad Creek's history someone was coming home without a trophey? And it was us? It was devestating, needless to say it didn't take long at all for the tears to start flowing from Kim, Elizabeth and me. It was the worst feeling in the world. And now I can't wait to get back out there.
The open guard from Croatan was the only one in their class at the competition they went to(a SeeWee show not an AIA one like ours) so obviously they won, not that it counts for anything in my opinion, but whatever.
So yesterday(sunday) we had practice from 2 to 5 and we had a reality check lecture. It sucked. Hard. By the end of it the ENTIRE guard was crying. Then we listened to the judges tapes while Mrs. Aldredge and Lenny(our writter) talked. Then after the 2nd tape they came down and said "We have a great idea. We're changing it." and walked out. Needless to say we were terrified. It ends up though, the news is fantastic!
We changed our theme! The song and most of the work is the same but now we actually have a set theme so that means we actually get to buy NEW costumes and NEW flags and do our hair actually pretty in a ponytail and curled instead of an ugly bun and we're repainting the floor! Everyone is so exciting and we're doing this all by Thursday before the Gainsville Competition this weekend! AHH! :) Wish us luck and I'll keep y'all posted!
